The story so far

In Paul’s letter to the Romans he included lots of teaching about Christian beliefs and behaviour; about how everyone is a sinner but that through Jesus we are forgiven and made clean. Paul used key men of faith such as Abraham to show that God doesn’t love us because of what we do but because we have faith and believe in him. He also shared about his own life and struggles and how it is hard to understand why we make the choices that we do when sometimes we really don’t want to. Sharing a part of his own story with the church at Rome, Paul showed that it is not easy for us to always make the wise choice.

Even though, at times, it can be a struggle to always make the wise choice, it is really cool to know that we have a God that loves us no matter what and that nothing can separate us from his love. The following passage that Paul shared with the Romans is a really encouraging passage that has helped and encouraged many people who are followers of God over many, many years…let’s have a look.

What do I read

Romans 8:31–39

What do I think say or create

It is pretty cool to think that nothing – yes, nothing – can separate us from God’s love. Using the strongest glue you can find, stick two items together – one representing you and the other representing God and his love. Place the glued items somewhere you will see them throughout the week to remind you that: ‘Nothing in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’
