In 2019, 79.5 million people had to leave their homes to escape from war, persecution, or conflict.
Refugees staying in camps are some of the most vulnerable to COVID-19. War and conflict have impacted health systems and the fight against the virus. COVID-19 implications will further threaten global peace and security. To effectively fight the pandemic, nations must come together for a common goal - recovering better.
