Impact of Covid-19 on Justice

COVID-19 & Justice

SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions aims to reduce all forms of violence, exploitation, and corruption and increase transparency, accountability, and participation in the institutions of global governance. In 2019, 79.5 million people had to leave their homes to escape from war, persecution, or conflict.

Refugees staying in camps are some of the most vulnerable to COVID-19. War and conflict have impacted health systems and the fight against the virus. COVID-19 implications will further threaten global peace and security. To effectively fight the pandemic, nations must come together for a common goal - recovering better.
