VISITORS to 'Our Boundless Story', the historic display that is planned for The Salvation Army's 150th anniversary international congress, can look forward to satisfying their sweet cravings thanks to a generous donation by Krispy Kreme UK. The company is providing 20,000 original glazed doughnuts over the duration of the congress. The donated doughnuts will form a hands-on part of a display that pays tribute to The Salvation Army's famous 'donut girls', who offered sustenance and spiritual support to the Allied troops – particularly during the First and Second World Wars.

Date- and time-specific vouchers will be provided to every fully registered delegate, with the rest distributed by volunteers to visitors to the congress and members of the public at London's O2 complex.

To add to the authentic 'donut girl' theme, the four USA Salvation Army territories and the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland are supplying volunteers dressed in period uniforms to assist with the distribution of the Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

'Our Boundless Story' will open at 1pm on Tuesday 30 June and operate during The O2's opening hours until 2pm on Sunday 5 July.
