It is the policy of The Salvation Army International Trust ('The Salvation Army'), to respect the privacy of all visitors, and as a UK-based registered charity (1000566) we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) set out by the European Union.
We collect user data when you use our websites. This is either provided voluntarily by you (such as by signing up to an email distribution list), or collected automatically as you navigate from page to page. All data is held securely and in compliance with all national and international legislation.

Data is also used to customise content which we believe will be helpful to you.
Data is shared with third parties where it is necessary to undertake the action requested by the user (for example, credit/debit card information submitted when you choose to donate to The Salvation Army will be processed by our card payment provider, and certain data will also be shared with your bank in order that the transaction can be conducted to your specification.)
The Salvation Army does not sell, trade or otherwise share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to deliver the service requested or where we are legally required to do so.
If at any time you wish to view or amend the information (if any) that The Salvation Army International Trust holds on you, or to be removed from our email distribution lists or similar, simply contact us at IHQ-Communications@salvationarmy.org with proof of identity.
