Radio Interview with the General Available Online

The General took part in a substantial and revealing interview for the UK's leading Christian broadcaster

A SUBSTANTIAL and revealing interview with General André Cox was broadcast on Premier Radio, the United Kingdom's foremost national Christian radio station, to celebrate The Salvation Army's 150th anniversary. The interview was featured at 4pm on Monday 29 June and is now available on the station's website.

Speaking to presenter Anna Cookson, the General talked about the anniversary celebrations – including the international congress – and the Army's rich history, as well as its worldwide ministry today. He also spoke candidly about personal matters, giving insight into the joys and pressures of life as the international leader of The Salvation Army.

Premier Radio can be accessed across the UK on DAB digital radios and internationally through its website, www.premierchristianradio.com, which will include a video of the interview as well as the broadcast audio.
