The Salvation Army Kenya West Territory Youth Department is dedicated to raising empowered, God-centred young people. We focus on enhancing the mission of spreading the gospel and meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of youth without discrimination. Through stewardship and service, we aim to leave a lasting legacy that transforms lives for generations to come.

1. Child Protection

A top priority, ensuring that all children under our care are safe, valued, and nurtured in an environment of dignity and respect.

2. Vocational Bible Studies (DVBS)

Interactive and engaging studies that deepen biblical understanding and strengthen faith, equipping youth with the Word of God for daily living.

3. Talents & Skills Development

• Music: Comprehensive training in brass band and instrumental music to enhance worship and personal development.

• Worship Experience: Teaching young people to lead dynamic and spirit-filled worship.

• Timbrel & Gospel Dance: Harnessing creative expression to celebrate and share the gospel.

4. Discipleship & Spiritual Growth

• Corps Cadet Lessons: In-depth discipleship training to nurture committed followers of Christ.

• Youth Brengle (Holiness Meetings): Special gatherings focusing on personal holiness and spiritual renewal.

5. Youth Leadership & Engagement

• Workshops and Conferences: Equipping youth with tools for leadership, ministry, and personal growth.

• Scouting Programs: Building teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills through adventure and service.

6. Sunday School

This program introduces children to foundational Christian teachings through Bible lessons, memory verses, singing, and interactive activities. It provides a strong moral compass and fosters spiritual growth, preparing children to live by Christian values in their daily lives.

7.Junior Masters Conferences

These conferences focus on mentoring and leadership development for young participants. Through workshops, music training, and team-building activities, the program equips youth with essential skills and a deeper understanding of their faith, preparing them to serve in the church and the community.

8. Mentorship Programs

One-on-one and group mentorship initiatives designed to guide young people in spiritual growth, career development, and emotional resilience.
