Close to the territorial theme, a two days Youth Leaders Seminar, themed, 'Face the Challenges with the Mind of Christ', was organized for selected local officers from youth works and DYS's at Youth Center, Kowdiar to experience a revived time of fun and prayers during 13 and 14 of August 2015.
The sessions and presentations were planned to focus on the theme of the seminar. The seminar started at 8.30 in the morning of 13 August with the presence of the Leaders of the Territory, Commissioners Samuel and Bimla Charan. Commissioner Bimla Charan, TPWM gave the inaugural address and there after Commissioner Samuel Charan Territorial Commander led the first session who spoke about 'Youth Leaders in the Challenging world.
The thq. Officers were other presenters for the sessions. Role of Youth Leaders, Discipleship of Youth Leaders, Effective Writing for Youth in the Digital World, Use the Resources for Youth Work, Finding Treasures for Youth, Youth & Community Building respectively were some of the topics discussed.
The second day on 14 August, Lieut-Colonel Vanlanfela, Chief Secretary felicitated a subject: Youth Leaders and the Future Army. The conclusion session was a spiritual hour. Commissioner Samuel Charan preached the word of God who emphasized the leadership qualities from the story of Joseph who became a great leader in the Bible nation. Mercy seat was busy at the end of the spiritual hours. Many youth workers renewed their strength and some dedicated to the Salvation Army officership.
