Territorial Writers' workshop was held at Tissot Training Centre, Bapatla from 13th to 15th March 2019. The theme of the workshop was "Writing for the Glory of God" Total 25 delegates (23 Officers and 2 Soldiers) were represented division, district, extension areas and institutions. There were four main objectives for Writers' Workshop to know the importance of writing and understand writing is a ministry, to learn and develop different styles and skills of writing, to inspire and motivate writers to use Print Media, to understand Print media as a tool for saving souls and promote fellowship.
Cabinet Secretaries, selected THQ officers and other resource persons were invited to give input to the writers' workshop. 15 significant topics were given to resource persons such as Media and Report writing, Which is mightier - Pen or sword? Communications, How can a writer use Technology? Sins of our Pens, Translation, The importance of print Media, Why Christian Writings? Writer's tools, Constrains of Print Media, Writing for children and youth, Army Terminology, Principles of Christian writings, Changing the world with our pens and Women and Print Media.
Each resource person did their job with practical work excellently. Delegates were empowered through their teaching. On the final day, valedictory meeting was led by Commissioners Wilfred Varghese and Prema Wilfred, Territorial Leaders had given brief Bible talk in this meeting.
Major T. Ismael and Lieutenant S. Mounika shared their experience of the workshop. Territorial Commander and TPWM distributed certificates to the delegates. Finally, Commissioner Wilfred elucidated Bible message about God's writings and challenged the delegates to write regularly for the Glory of God. Territorial Commander concluded the workshop with prayer and benediction.
