Leadership seminar for Senior Women Officers was conducted by Commissioner Susamma James, TPWM and supported by Lieut- Colonel Shanti Masih, TSWM, during 20th to 22nd June 2016 in Red Shield Guests House, Mumbai. There were 44 delegates attended the seminar.
This seminar was commenced with welcome by Commissioner Susamma James, TPWM followed by morning devotion. After devotion, Commissioner M. C. James the Territorial Commander inaugurated the Leadership Seminar by lighting the candles and expressed greetings and good wishes to all.
As per the programme, each day the Territorial Commander shared about first Christian women in Europe named Lydia, based on Acts 16:10-15, during his task of bible study. The Commissioner explained about introduction of the Philippi and Church at the Philippi, the conviction happened in the life of Lydia, background of her life and love towards god's people. In addition, following subjects were discussed during the seminar:
- Building Positive Personality - TPWM
- Women's Development & Future Plan - TSWM
- Developing leadership qualities
- Developing Potential leadership
- Holiness in Everyday Life
- Correspondence and Bookkeeping
Furthermore, time was given to all DDWM to share their five months report about their activities held in their divisions. Evening devotion was led by Lieut- Colonel Ratnamala Randive, LOM Secretary on first day and by Lieut-Colonel Sunita Macwan, THLS on second day. Also women were divided into groups for prayers and everyone participated and prayed for the various subjects and enjoyed the spiritual fellowship.
Final meeting led by Lieut-Colonel Shanti Masih, TSWM. Many delegates testified their two days experience about usefulness and benefits of the seminar for their personal life and future ministry. At the conclusion, message was delivered by the TPWM based on Ephesians 1:3-10 on the subject “You are Chosen by God.” She encouraged the officers to empty themselves in the presence of the Lord at the mercy seat. The final prayer and benediction was pronounced by the TPWM.
