On 28th April 2018 Seminar was conducted for the officers who have completed 5 & 15 years of their services in the ranks of the Salvation Army. 2 officers completed 5 years and 14 officers completed 15 years of services. The theme of the seminar was Journey with Jesus.
Commissioner Edwin Masih, Territorial Commander & TPWM Commissioner Sumita Masih were the leaders of this seminar and supported by Lieut. Colonel Benjamin Randive Secretary for Personnel Administration and Lieut. Colonel G. Y. Pathare Secretary for Programme Administration, Maharashtra. The seminar was commenced with devotion led by Training Principal Major B. Hiwale.
In his lecture the Territorial Commander explained about worldly journey and the preparation, planning and difficulties of worldly journey. He reminded all officers about the Spiritual Journey with Jesus as it is important for officers. Lieut. Colonel B. Randive spoke about Our Past Journey with Jesus and forward Journey by growing spiritually. Lieut. Colonel G. Y. Pathare shared about Journey with Jesus by looking at Him.
At the final spiritual meeting, Commissioner Edwin Masih shared the life of Officers and problems and difficulties in the ministries through his vast experience as officer and said that, though the past journey as officers was not easy but the Lord was always with us, He led us and the same Lord will lead our Journey ahead in the ministries of officer ship. He added that but we have to renew our dedication, commitment and covenant done at the beginning and remain faithful and loyal to our calling & covenant of the officer ship.
All officers gave their testimony & shared their past experience of the services in the Salvation Army. Everyone thanked to God for His care, protection and spiritual guidance for the services. At the end of the day all officers kneeled down at Mercy Seat and rededicated their lives for the further services in the Salvation Army.
