Aimed at strengthening the officers potential and discharge of their mission abilities a Post Commissioned Officers Seminar was organized by the department of Human Resource in India South Eastern Territory.
29 Post Commissioned Officers were gathered together to renew their calling and commitment through a seminar which was conducted during 21 and 22 of January 2016 at HRD Centre Muttom. This seminar privileged the officers to sit together and collectively share and strengthen their potentials.
At eight in the morning of Thursday 21 January 2016 the seminar was begun. Major A. Jeyasekar, HRD Secretary gave a formal welcome to the officers and the leaders. Lieut-Colonel P. Suthananthadhas, Secretary for Personnel Administration inaugurated the seminar. Following subject matters were proposed for the presentation of the seminar.
Bible Study, Soul Winning & Candidate ship, Children & Youth Ministry, Corps Activities & Records, Outreach Evangelism, The Salvation Army Property, Corps Finance, Our Vision & Mission, and Public Relations & Human Resources.
A distinct time slot was arranged for the officers to recollect and reflect their challenges and strengths in their service stations in the evening of the first day seminar.
As culmination, the second day afternoon was allocated for spiritual outpour. Lieut-Colonels Gabriel I. Christian, Chief Secretary and Indumathi Christian, TSWM graced the spiritual session. The officers were privileged to share the gain they received in this seminar. Four of them shared their experience that encouraged all.
Lieut-Colonel Indumathi Christian's short talk helped the officers to feel the personal relationship with God. Chief Secretary's scripture thoughts about fig tree form Luke 13:6-9 moved everyone at last to mercy seat to renew their calling and commitment as an officer of the Salvation Army.

Anbaiyan (Secretary for Corps programmes), Nalladhas (Legal Officer), Y. Ponnappan (Property Secretary), M. Stalin (Financial Secretary), Stephen Herbert Singh (Secretary for Social Programmes) and A. Jaya Sekar (HRD Secretary) were the presenters of the sessions in the seminar.
