Silver & Gold Star parents fellowship was held first time in the Territory on the 20th of August 2022, at The Salvation Army Community Hall, Nagercoil, under the leadership of Commissioners John Kumar and Mani Kumari Dasari, Territorial Commander and Territorial President for Women's Ministry with the support of Lt.Colonels Lalbulliana and Lalnunhlui, Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women's Ministry. Silver Star Parents - 225 and 8 Gold Star mothers, a total of 233 participated along with all the DDWM'S and some women officers in this fellowship.
Commissioners Suresh Pawar and Martha Pawar, the International Secretary & Zonal Secretary for Women's Ministries, in South Asia were the chief guest for this special event. Some of the Silver & Gold star parents took part in this meeting by leading the prayer, sharing their testimonies, leading the songs, etc. As Silver Star Parents, our Zonal leaders were welcomed and appreciated. Commissioners Suresh Pawar, International Secretary, South Asia gave the response and ZSWM preached the word of God, from I Samuel 1:20-28. The word of God touched the hearts. Many of the parents rededicated and 35 came to the Mercy Seat.
The International Secretary closed the fellowship with prayer and gave the benediction. All the Silver & Gold Star Parents were welcomed with a welcome gift worth INR 500.00 and a Coconut Sapling was also given as a symbol of growth and Prosperity. Everyone enjoyed this great fellowship.
