The new National Office Leaders Colonel's John Kumar & Mani Kumari Dasari, National Executive Officer and Secretary for Women's Development were welcomed at India National Office on 4th January 2019 by National Office team.
The meeting was led by Major Jashiben Khristi, Editor & Communications Secretary, and commenced with the prayer followed by song led by Captain Aseervadam Chelli, Chief Finance Officer & Project Secretary. A special prayer was offered by Captain Kalpana, Cashier & Maintenance officer asked God to fill them with His heavenly wisdom and knowledge.
Captain Samson Macwan, Secretary for HRDI and Captain Latha Chelli, Education Secretary felicitated them with words of welcome and other Officers and employees honoured on behalf of the staff. They assured them to give all their needed support and cooperation for the extension of God's work in the National Office.
Colonel Mani Kumari, Secretary for Women's Development praised God for the valuable responsibility given by the International Leaders to them to serve at the National Office. Colonel reminded Bible verse from Psalm 115:12 “God has remembered us; he will bless us”.
Colonel John Kumar Dasari shared the inspiring Bible message from Psalms 78:70-72 on the life of David. He shared that “God chose David his servant and took him from the sheepfolds and granted him all the blessings in his life”.
The meeting was concluded by the song in attitude of prayer “O to be like thee”. All glory to God for what the Lord has been doing at National Office.

Colonel John Kumar Dasari and Colonel Mani Kumari, officers of the India Central Territory have been serving for the past 28 years in the ranks of The Salvation Army. Both are Post Graduate Officers having a wide range of experience in all areas like Corps Officers, THQ staff served in most of the departments like Finance, Education, Projects (Emergency Relief), Field and Business Manager in a Hospital. Also served as Divisional Leaders and served in International Appointments as Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Business Administration and Territorial League of Mercy respectively in the Kenya East Territory. Finally they had served as Chief Secretary and TSWM in India Eastern Territory. Colonel John Kumar Dasari is one of the early respondents of all-natural calamities in India. Later served as a member in PREPARE steering Committee at IHQ. He is also one of the early respondents of Post War relief in Iraq and Bangladesh Flood Relief appointed by IHQ. Moreover, he has developed a SMART 4 Year Strategic Plan (June 2016 - June 2019) being used by the Kenya East Territory. Colonel Mani Kumari Dasari is a zealous servant of God. She has served as Corps Officer, THQ Field department, Social Institutions - Superientendent for Girls Hostel and Vocational Training Centre, English medium School and 10 years as Women Development Officer advocating for women education and empowerment through Community Empowerment Program and commenced a 500 Self Help Groups in the Territory. They are loyal to their calling and very obedient to God and Leadership. Colonel John Kumar Dasari is appointed a National Executive Oficer and Colonel Mani Kumari Dasari is appointed as Secretary for Women Development at India National Office with effective from 1st January 2019.
