
A series of 150 days prayer had been launched and inaugurated by the Territorial Commander Colonel Nihal Hettiarachchi on 16th November2018. Prayer Cell Groups are continuously supporting the spiritual ministries of the Salvation Army in the territory.
The youth organised a football tournament on territorial level where there were twenty-five teams representing the entire territory participated in this tournament. It brought all the youth together not only the talented players but the peer groups and friends too. It grooms the Salvationism and share and plan the ideas for the better Army. A cricket match was organised by Adoor Division, also one of the same as such.
Social Services Department was served well in time of emergency providing relief and rehabilitation to the flood affected people. The Salvation Army performed an awesome ministry of its presence both individually such as youth, Home league members, Corps, Divisions, Medical Fellowship, League of Mercy and the territory jointly since the calamity engulfed Kerala. The cordial support extended by other territories in India including India Western, India South Eastern and India Northern were also praiseworthy.
Women Ministry also plays a vital part in keeping the Mission of the Army going on. To coping up with the rapid changes of the world especially in the IT field, the ministry organized workshop for Women Leaders of the Territory to familiarise with modern technologies, train, equip and make them competent to the challenges of the modern world.
The Project Department is doing excellent writing and getting implemented different projects. The Migrant's Project supported by the Kerala State Government which was well appreciated by the Government and the Salvation Army was honoured and awarded first place in Best Performance in project implementation at the State Level.
