Saturday, 12th January 2019 was a special day for India Northern Territory in which many Officers, Soldiers present over here at Delhi Citadel Corps and witnessed the auspicious occasion of Installation Service for the newly appointed Territorial Leaders Colonels Daniel Raju and Baby Sarojini Dasari.
When the territorial flag sergeant was carried the Army flag, the Territorial Leaders entered the hall. The meeting was led by Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Jebasingh Raj, Chief Secretary with respect and dignity. As representatives of The General, Retired Commissioners Lalkiamlova and Lalhlimpuii conducted the Installation service of our new leaders. Territorial Leaders has covenanted with God, kneeling at the Mercy Seat and submitted themselves to God with complete obedience.
In the same meeting, a special Welcome was given by Commissioner Lalkiamlova and Lalhlimpuii (IHQ Representatives) to Colonels John Kumar and Mani Kumari Dasari who were appointed as National Executive Officer and Secretary for Women Development at India National Office by The General. Followed by Colonels John Kumar and Mani Kumari Dasari shared their testimony and expressed their joy and thankfulness.
Major Saranjith, DDWM of Chandigarh, Mr. Paul Rajkumar, Local Officer of Delhi Citadel, Major Salamath Masih, DC, Dera Bana Nanak Division and Mr. Sam Livingstone, Rtd. Principal, William Booth Junior College, Bapatla, India Central Territory wished the newly installed leaders. Salvationists, friends and Officers of India Northern Territory gave warm Welcome to the Territorial Leaders as well as newly appointed National Executive Officer and Secretary for Women Development.
A letter from the General to the Territorial Leaders were read and presented by Commissioner Lalkiamlova to the newly Installed Territorial Leaders. Welcome song was presented by Youth of Delhi Citadel Corps and Song of dedication was sung by THQ Officers. Colonel Baby Sarojini Dasari, shared her personal testimony about how God called her to his service and guided all through the years. She assured that she will serve faithfully by following God.
The Territorial Theme for the year 2019 - 'DREAM BIG' was launched in the same meeting. Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari, Territorial Commander explained about the theme and urged everyone to pray and have a Big Dream about their respectable ministry. Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari shared the Word of God from Luke 4: 14-19. He explained the 'Manifestation of Lord Jesus Christ' by speaking from the Word of God he declared that I do not have any other manifestation rather following the Vision Statement of The Salvation Army which is based on the Manifestation of Lord Jesus Christ that is to Save Souls, Grow Saints and to Serve the Suffering Humanity without any discrimination. He said 'me and my wife are here to serve you, to listen to you, to pray for you, to minister to you as a servant leaders'. The meeting was concluded with the prayer and benediction of the Commissioner. May God bless The Salvation Army.
