REJUVENATION IN HEALTH SERVICES IN INDIA TOWARDS EXCELLENCE

India National Office an organized training programme for health care personnel with 24 delegates at Home League Centenary Retreat Centre Nagercoil from 16 -19 July 2019. Commissioner AIistair Venter, International Secretary for South Asia zone inaugurated the training programme supported by Colonel. John Kumar Dasari, National Executive Officer.

The training was remarkable with the representation of all Indian territories and their best personnel involving in health care ministry. It was quite worthy and highly informative to the delegates through the lectures, discussions and other practical exercises of high profiled faculties of this field.

Commissioner Alistair Venter awakened the minds of participants and throw light on facts and realities of the contemporary scenario of health care services which serves as a guiding star towards excellence of health services in coming days.

Mr. Stephen Chinnaswamy, CEO of Strides consulting was one of the main faculty who performed the professionalism blend with Biblical principles and values throughout the subjects that he handled, like 'Personnel & attitude in Service Sector', Challenges for Mission/non-profit hospitals in India’, Effective controlling system in hospital', ’Identification of resources-exploring towards sustainability' and Heal t h care & technology/quality management'.

’Legal aspects in hospital administration’ was the subject explored and challenged by Mr. Allen Rajadhas, an eminent personality in the sector who serves as a consultant to prominent mission hospitals and NGOs, for many years. It was an eye-opener towards contemporary legal requirements and responsibilities compliances to hospitals.

Colonel John Kumar Dasari, efficiently and eloquently handled the subjects like, 'The Vision and mission of The Salvation Army health services’, ’Finance management, planning and budgeting’. It brought a tremendous outcome which contributes immense ideas and plans to lead the health service in nearby future towards Excellency and facilitation of discussions on 'Roles and responsibilities of health care personnel’, ’Rebuilding health services in India' and the plenary session with recommendations’.

Commissioner Alistair Venter created a new spirit and energy into the minds of all participants to create a new world transformed into society with simple and slight moves. Commissioner inspired the participants with his experience and practical example and TSA medical services to offer their best. It was made possible by his powerful messages on the opening and closing addresses and extraordinary lectures on Hospital management-healthy environment’ and ’Theology of health care management’.

Major C. J. Bennymon Health and Emergency Services Secretary (National Office Kolkata) also shared a subject on ’Hospital growth through team building & relationship'.

Delegates were blessed by the morning devotions, led by Colonel’s Gabriel and Indumati Christian TC and TPWNI, Lt. Colonels Davidson Varghese and Mariamma Davidson, C.S and TSWM.

The training programme was under the shadow and care of the spiritual nourishment. The leadership of the India South Eastern Territory extended tremendous support in every aspect including a colourful welcome session to the fruitfulness of the programme. Let everything bring glory to His name!
