HOME LEAGUE RALLY 2019, INDIA SOUTH EASTERN TERRITORY

‘On the Way to Heaven' was the theme of annual Divisional level Home League Rallies 2019 based on Philippians 3:20. The rallies were organised on almost all Saturdays of February and March as per the convenience of the divisional and district leadership. Two team were formed under the leadership of TPWM & TSWM with selected THQ women officers. Apart from division and district, separate rally was arranged at Catherine Booth Hospital Chapel for staff and students of Hospital, College of Nursing and CHDP. Throughout the territory 18 Rallies were conducted. These rallies were celebrated like a 'Women's Festival', young and old women enjoyed listening the Word of God and delighted by each other's fellowship. Everyone actively participated through testimony, dance, skit, reciting memory words, etc.

During all the rallies, retired officers and Silver Star Mothers were honoured with gifts and mementos.  TPWM and TSWM offered special prayers for them and recognized publicly.
New members were enrolled and welcomed publicly at every centre. Through dedicatory prayer the leader of the rally submitted them to God.

Colonel Indumati Christian, TPWM emphasized on the theme – “On the Way to Heaven”. She shared about God's calling to serve the humanity without discrimination and challenged congregation to born again through Jesus and to get transformed life with a changed attitude and godly behaviour.
Lieutenant Colonel Mariamma Davidson, TSWM spoke from Matthew 25:1-10 and emphasized on parable of ten virgins and encouraged women to be ready and prepared to go with Lord Jesus to the Kingdom of God.

Testimonies: Many women came forward and shared their experiences of God's protection and love in their difficult situations like sickness, financial crisis and job. These testimonies touched to many lives.

Shield and Flag: Every division and district Home League Shield was presented to the Corps based on the highest amount of Helping Hand and best activities. The Flag was presented to the Corps based on the highest numbers of new members enrolled.

Cultural Programs:  Cultural programmes were one of the big attractions and entertainment of the Home League Rallies in all the Centres.  The home leaguers were presented various kinds of dances, skits, timbrel drill, traditional dances like kummi, kolattam etc. Leaders appreciated each group for their performances and congratulated them for their talents.

Conclusion: We have seen women crying, weeping and responding the call of God by coming forward to Mercy Seat. They were empowered by the Word of God and by the fellowship with each other. Home League Rallies had brought great revival amongst women.

Total 10105 home leaguers plus 124 retired officers and 246 Silver Star mothers were attended the rallies, 3740 seekers came to the Mercy Seat and 230 new members were enrolled. `. 8,50,223 (Helping hand + auction + thanks offering + meeting collection) raised through the rallies. All honour and glory to God!
