The International Leader General Brian Peddle, and Commissioner Rosalie Peddle World President of Women's Ministries were warmly welcomed by the Territorial leaders, officers and soldiers, with flowers and traditional turban at the airport. His visit to India Western Territory commenced with the Gujarat officers' meeting. In the beginning of every meeting Commissioner Edwin Masih Territorial Commander introduced and welcomed the international leaders. The General emphasised in his message that, we need the power of the Holy Spirit in our service. And nothing is impossible to God. And he encouraged the officers during the meeting and proceeded to visit the college for Officer's training and encouraged the cadets of “Messengers of Grace” session and staff through the word of God for the service in the broken world.
During his visit schedule General had visit of Emery hospital Anand and Evangeline Booth hospital Ahmednagar and he inaugurated modern X-ray machine, ultra-sonic machine and equipment's for the service of community and blessed the hospital and staff.
More than 850 youth and children were gathered from various parts of Gujarat and Maharashtra for the youth meetings. Major David Williamson Secretary for the General shared his personal testimony and explained the importance of the Salvation Army officer.
General and Commissioner Rosalie both shared the word of God with the young people about God’s plan in lives of young peoples. Young people were very happy and were encouraged by the message. When the General gave altar call 228 young people were knelt at the mercy seat and dedicated their lives to Lord Jesus.
In the public meeting more than eight thousand Salvationists, officers, well-wishers and friends attended in the public meeting. The General shared the word of God and spoke to the public, and explained that God would meet the needs, he strengthens everyday. He encouraged the Public to put burden on Jesus and to trust Him. After the message when General gave altar call 565 people were responded and knelt before the cross (Mercy seat) and rededicated their lives to Jesus Christ.
On the last day of visit the international leaders conducted a united holiness meeting in St. Mary auditorium Mumbai where more than 900 people including with officers have takenpart. General shared the word of God with the power of the Holy Spirit. He shared the life of the king David his sin and his repentance, and he emphasised on David's conviction When David turned to God, He washed all his sins restored him and made him new. In the same way General challenged to repent towards God, surely, He forgives sins and will gives holy life. When the altar call has given 45 Salvationists and officers came to the mercy seat and rededicated their lives to God.
The General and the World President of Women Minister's visit was an amazing experience, blessed time and revival season for the people of India Western territory.
