LUNGLEI: Southern Division / iet
As the need for children to learn safety measures of day to day life it was felt necessary in the community of Lunglei Corps in Southern Division, a one day FIRST AID training programme on 28 June 2015 that was organized at Lunglei, Southern Division. The young people of Lunglei Corps, accompanied by Mr Lalmuankima, YPSM and YP Company Guard organized this for their children.
Mrs. Laltlangmawii, Trainer, Tutor of the Nursing School in Lunglei supported with her other four friends in teaching the children about first aid measures. It included many preventive elements to keep oneself from possible dangers of accidents, threats of biting of creatures and animals, and poisonous exposures, and so on.
The impetus of the training was aimed at improving the knowledge and awareness about safe and healthy life environment among children. The children gained more knowledge about it. Thanks are due to the Company Guards of Lunglei Corps who work hard among children.
