All the Six Indian Territorial Commanders, Chief Secretaries, Secretary for Business Administration, Secretary for Personnel and National Secretary gathered at Mumbai for two days that is 31st August and 1st September to attend different meetings which was organized by India National Secretariat International Secretary and ZSWM for South Asia and International Secretary for Business Administration, IHQ were also joined.
On 31st August at 9 am there was Directors meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Commissioner MC James followed by Annual Generalbody meeting for which all the Directors and Members attended at 11:30 a.m
Afternoon the 'Finance Seminar' was began by the introductory words of Commissioner Lalzamlova, International Secretary. The finance seminar was based on 'Accountability Movement Finance Work Stream'. Commissioner John Wainwright was the chief resource person and he took overall five sessions.
In his two session Commissioner John Wainwright explained about the position of Self Support world widely and the systems of Self Denial. It was very helpful to understand how the systems working throughout the world. Sustainability and growth are the important factors and Commissioner John Wainwright encouraged every territory should look for efficiency and effectiveness in all their dealings.
Second day of the Seminar morning devotions led by Commissioners Lalzamlova and Nu-I. Commissioner Lalzamlova's message was based on 'Faithful Steward' (Luke 16:10-13). He reminded everyone that 'God has in stored all the provision. We need to use the available things then many great things can be happen'.
Commissioner John Wainwright continued his session after the morning devotion. Commissioner explained about 'Three lines of defence' about the Audit systems. The other key teachings were about 'International Property Strategies, Review of International IT Provision etc. He motivated all the participants to upgrade our systems with more transparency and accountability.
Final Session led by Commissioners Lalzamlova & Nu-I. Many delegates shared their reflections how they were blessed by the seminar. Closing message was shared the word of God basing on 1 Peter 4:7-11. He said “there are several challenges before us but God will help us to use challenging situations into opportunities and victories. What we preach lets practice it. Let us walk the talk and be faithful in all our dealings and he will be faithful towards us.”
The Two days seminar was ended with the closing Prayer and Benediction of the International Secretary.
