17 December 2019 was a blessed day for The Salvation Army Educational Institution, Batala. On that day, We celebrated Christmas and Annual function. Our, Honorable Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari, Territorial Commander, Colonel Sarojini Dasari TPWM, India Northern Territory is the chief guest of the function. Everyone was felt blessed by their presence.
Moreover, Senior Officials from the District Education Office, Distinguished guests, Principals of various schools and colleges and local management members were also attended to this celebration to bless the students.
The program started at 10 O'clock. Major Robert and Major Sunita brought chief guests to the pandal, where they cut Welcome Ribbon and balloons were released by the guests. Then they came in the pandal. The program started with the prayer by Major Sunita Robert. After the prayer, little kids of CBSE section presented welcome Song. Colonel Sarojini Dasari gave a response and blessed the students and staff. She was very happy to see the little students performing their performances. After that Tiny Tots of CBSE section presented a dance item. They were danced like toys. Everyone gave them a big applause. Fancy dress and Aerobic Dance were performed after this. Raju Daniel, Principal has given an overall report of the school, Kiran Mam reported on Academic and Priya Bhatia reported on Activities.
Beautiful girls of the high school performed Bhangra followed by Gospel dance CBSE students. Christmas play was performed. Students played the beautiful play of Jesus Christ Birth which is the main focus of the program.
Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari blessed everyone present over in the pandal with his beautiful message from the Holy Bible. The title of the message was “Dream Big For All”. The Birth of Jesus Christ is good news not only for merely selected people or groups rather but also it's Good news to the Whole World. Jesus was born for every mankind and it's a part of God's big dream. “The people who sat in darkness saw a great light, and to them, which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” (Matthew 4:16). Dream Big means share the joy, Spread the love and live in peace. It was a very impressive and effective message. Everyone was blessed. After the message, some performances took place like Haryanvi Dance, Giddha and Prize also distributed. Major Robert Masih, Superintendent of The Salvation Army School extended the vote of thanks. He thanked everyone –officials from the district office, distinguished guests, local management members, and parents.
Program was concluded by the prayer of Colonel Daniel Raju Dasari. After the Program, Everyone enjoyed the grand and delicious feast given by School. It was a memorable day in the History of the School in 2019 December.
