As informed, arrangements are in full swing for the national Youth Congress to be held from 21st to 24th October 200 at Ashirvad Global Learning Centre, Hyderabad. With the theme “Be Ready” based on the General's call to mission, this youth congress is planned with 500 selected delegates from 6 Indian territories and international delegates from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Commissioners Lyndon Buckingham and Bronwyn Buckingham, the Chief of the Staff and the World Secretary for Spiritual Life development will be the main speakers and Chief Guests, along with Commissioners Suresh & Martha Pawar, Commissioner Samuel Edward Horwood, and Captain Marc Potters from International headquarters. God is good in granting every strength to make this program meaningful and bring Glory to His name. This will have the following main activities.
21st October 2022: Inauguration &; Welcome Session
22nd & 23 October 2022: General Sessions, Break-Out Sessions & Cultural Evening
24th October 2022: General Session & Spiritual Meeting
Apart from the above, praise & worship from the spirit-filled youth representatives from all six territories will be another attractive event. Please continue to pray. It has been the desire to raise at least 100 young people to take up the officership in the Salvation Army for the future Army in India.
