GO CHILDREN & YOUTH, INDIA SOUTH EASTERN TERRITORY
As per the vision of the General, the significant and excited weekend was held in a great successful manner in our ISE Territory from 24-26 March 2017. With the support and guidance of the Territorial Commander and cooperation of divisional and district leaders, the ISET Mobilising Team have been able to conduct Go Children and Youth Programme successfully in the Territory.
The three days meeting was mainly focussed on Go Children and Youth, go forward for mobilising. The youth worshipped, danced, praised Jesus, and met His goodness.
Go Children And Youth Cultural Programme - Corps Level
On 24th March 2017 the children and youth participated in cultural programme in the evening. The primary goal of the youth group has been to build community and leadership as well as activities have being aimed to reach out to the un churched kids. Corps officers and young people local officers have strived to create a loving environment where all the kids feel accepted, wanted and comfortable enough to invite their friends along. The young people and children were performed skit, solo, duet, dance and sharing testimony. It was exciting to see different gifts and talents in children and youth. Earlier, youth and children were joined the march of witness and open air meeting. The programme reminded the General's word during boundless congress, These young people want to be mobilised,' 7 pray they won't just be here for the fun and laughter, but that they will truly open their hearts to God so that the future of The Salvation Army will be brighter.'
Go Children and Youth Mobilising Rally- Divisional Level
Next day the young people were marching on the streets, singing, beating drum and playing music with Army flags from various corps. After the procession, mobilising youth rally was started. The selected speakers for divisional level shared the word of God in the youth rally under the topic of 'Go and Preach the Gospel to everyone and mobilise the World for Jesus Christ' and their profound knowledge in scripture helped our youth grow in faith. The God's Word not only revealed the purpose of the lives of young people but also enabled them to have a look at the purpose for the whole world, including the plans the Lord Jesus Christ has for all of them. 23 young ones dedicated their lives to God for doing His great ministry. Young ones chaired Sunday Holiness meeting. Out of 15500 children and youth in the territory, 2632 actively participated the meeting and 239 youth preached the mobilising sermon, which led 8538 children to mercy seat for holiness.
Go Children and Youth Stunning Celebration:
On final day, the gathering of 3250 children and youth created a history in India South Eastern Territory. The Church and campus was packed with children and the young ones. Territorial level speaker Ms. Jany Jimshiya shared the word of God focussing Mark 16:15, which touched the heart of young people. Mobilising sermon has led 1850 children to mercy seat for holiness. Children and youth proved their talents end of the celebration. The Territorial Commander offered prayer and benediction.
