The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Council organized a very constructive and generative Trainers’ Training on the issue of Social Enterprise on 16th & 17th February 2017 at Aijal Club, Aizawl, Mizoram. The training was organised with intention to uplift the statuses of the youths in order to direct them towards self-support with a more self-reliance and stability for employment. The delegates wee nurtured not only for their own benefits, but also for the benefits they acquired through this training.
On the first day, Captain K. Lalrinpuia, Territorial Youth Secretary inducted the training, in which, Commissioner Lalgaihawmi, Territorial Commander inaugurated the Training with a prayer of thanks to the Lord. The resource persons from Social Justice and Development India, Mizoram Rural Bank, and Directorate of Industries gave training with a prayer of thanks to the Lord. The resource persons from Social Justice and Development India, Mizoram Rural Bank, and Directorate of Industries gave training to the delegates on important topics like, “Entrepreneurship”, “Banking,” and “Industrial development for entrepreneurs”.
Next day, the training was started with devotion led by Lieut. Colonel Lalbulliana, Secretary for Business Administration. “Marketing” was another important topic for youth, which was taught by North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited. After that, Major Lalsangpuii, Project Secretary presented her presentation on “Salvation Army community Development Project” while Lieut. Colonel Lalhmingliana, Secretary for Personnel Administration shared his thoughts on “Doing the Most Good.”Finally, Lieut. Colonel Zothanmawia, Secretary for Programme Administration concluded the training with a prayer.
