International Conference of Training Principals 2023 was held in Nairobi, Kenya from 30th September - 5th October 2023 with the theme “Called, Covenanted and Commissioned. The Training Principles and Educators around the world get together for the conference with the support of the International Officer Training And Leadership Development Council, IHQ-London. General Lyndon Buckingham and Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham, WPWM inaugurated The Conference with a Bible Message and Blessings.
Aim:
To bring all the Training Principles and Educators together to consider, discuss and make future recommendations on issues relating to the training of The Salvation Army cadets.
Objectives:
1. How to equip cadets for cross-cultural ministry in the 21st century, with a renewed focus on discipleship and evangelism.
2. How to resources colleges within the context of current training needs, changing trends and challenges.
3. How to address matters of the governance system, compliance, quality assurance and standards for officer training colleges.
