The High Council Welcome and Retirement Salute to the General

What a wonderful privilege to be part of the Welcome and Retirement Salute to General Shaw and Commissioner Helen Clifton.  It was a meeting filled with blessing, and upbeat from the beginning.  It was one of those meetings that you never imagined you would be able to attend in your lifetime.  It was a real thrill to see the International Army represented by the leaders from every country. 

It was a meeting bathed in prayer by those present, but also by our own Session since our arrival a few days earlier.  Our Session thoroughly enjoyed the Welcome Meeting, and particularly catching up with their International Leaders.  The musical participation brought much blessing as well. 

Travelling to the venue was an experience that will never be forgotten by some - first time on the London Underground at peak time!
