The Salvation Army in Haiti has now distributed more than a million meals in its response to the earthquake, and continues to work alongside other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and agencies, and has formed a good working relationship with the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division.

Salvation Army Emergency Relief Team in Sumatra, Indonesia, Offers Medical Help and More

A Salvation Army professional medical team is seeing an average of 200 patients each day in a makeshift medical tent in the Pangang Pariaman sector. The Salvation Army had already distributed 1,000 tents, 2,000 blankets and 5,000 packets of milk powder in the first days of the crisis.
