Chikankata Salvation Army Radio is a community Radio Station situated in Chieftainess Mwenda’s chiefdom of Chikankata district in southern province.The Radio Station broadcasts its programs on 90.9 FM and covers a radius of about 150 kilometers of receivership and has a listenership base of more than 250,000 people. This includes our catchment areas: Siavonga, Chirundu, Kafue, Chilanga, Lusaka,Gwembe,Choongwe, outskirts of Mazabuka town and Chikankata inclusive. The Radio Station is a licensed broadcasting station whose core objective is to educate, inform, entertain, motivate, inspire confidence and spread the word of God through the media. These programs are designed in such a way to accommodate a diverse listener-ship base and covers areas such as health, education, agriculture, Christian and other developmental programs taking place in the area.
