What's on your heart? | Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Response

Commissioner Rosalie Peddle interviews two members of the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Response team.

The World President of Women's Ministries, Commissioner Rosalie, met with two members of the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Response team to mark the Annual Day of Prayer for Victims of Human Trafficking (26th September).

The Day of Prayer for Victims of Human Trafficking is a special day in the global Salvation Army’s calendar, but it is particularly important for those who are immersed in this aspect of our global work and ministry. In her own preparation for this day, Commissioner Rosalie interviewed Priscilla Santos (International Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Response Coordinator) and Malaika Oringo (International Survivor Engagement and Inclusion Specialist). Their work holds a special place in the heart of Women’s Ministries, having had a presence right from the beginning of the work of Women's Ministries within The Salvation Army. We are grateful for these strong and good women, and we praise God for their passion and determination in the fight against modern slavery and human trafficking.

This interview was the first of a new social media series for international Women's Ministries. Commissioner Rosalie will be speaking with key individuals within The Salvation Army's network, sharing a richer insight into the global Army at work and the leaders who influence the mission in which we are all engaged. It starts by asking one simple question: What is on your heart?

This interview was originally released on Wednesday, 22nd September on Salv Army Women (Facebook and Instagram):
