News Feature: General Burrows Memorial Service to be Streamed Live

A public memorial service for General Eva Burrows (Retired) will take place in Melbourne, Australia, on 31 March

225-EvaBurrowsDETAILS for the public memorial service for General Eva Burrows (Retired) have been confirmed. The celebration meeting, at which General André Cox will speak, will take place in Melbourne Town Hall, Melbourne, Australia, on Tuesday 31 March. Music will be provided by the Melbourne Staff Band and Songsters. A private funeral service for close friends and family will have taken place the previous day.

The General and Commissioner Silvia Cox (World President of Women's Ministries) are currently in the middle of a visit to the Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory, but time has been made in the schedule to allow them to travel to Melbourne to participate in the meeting before continuing with their planned visit. 

Salvationists and friends around the world will be able to watch a live stream of the event at www.sarmy.org.au/live. Those who cannot watch live can go to the same web address later to access an archived version.

The service will begin at 1pm local time (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), which is 3am in London and 10pm on Monday in New York.
