On behalf of the youth ministries in Adoor division, a Youth Mission Team has been formed. The mission team named as 'AS ONE ARMY' has been dedicated by Colonel Nihal Hettiarachchi, Territorial Commander on the final day of Adoor divisional convention which was held on 21st January 2018. Territorial Commander dedicated 24 members and wished the members to touch the hearts of each and every youth. Its main goal is spiritual as well as physical development of the division and Territorial Commander appreciated the goals of Youth Mission Team. The members marched towards the stage and pledged themselves to serve God as well as The Salvation Army.
Colonel Nihal Hettiarachchi dedicated ‘As One Army’ logo and the theme song which was written by Mr. Lalu Lazer and Music by Mr. William Isaac has been sung by divisional songsters. The meeting brought a new revival among the youth. The name ‘As One Army' is given on the basis of the Bible verses John 17:21 in which Jesus Christ is pleading to the father for his disciples to help them to become one and serve the God. The responsibilities and duties of a mission team member have been described by Mr. Manu Sam, Spiritual Co-ordinator. Dr. J. Samkutty felicitated the members of 'As One Army'. All glory to God. Amen.
