The Community Empowerment Project and Women Ministries Department jointly organized Nutrition distribution programme under the banner of this year theme “Mission to Serve” in two districts - Mandavalli, Machilipatnam and in Extension Area Sullurupeta. Every month we do this activity in one place, through this programme we are proclaiming the good news to the unreached and executing the Salvation Army Mission. We also try to create good habits, health awareness among the malnourished women living in rural areas. At the same time we distribute nutrition materials like Horlicks, Lion dates, and Oats for old and sick women and we are giving 'sarees' to the very poor old women in the territory.
The nutrition materials were distributed by Lieut. Colonels Jashwant Mahida, Chief Secretary and Lieut. Colonel Ruth Mahida, TSWM along with all the staff of Women Ministry Department in THQ in the month of April 2018, and 200 beneficiaries who were poor and sick women benefitted by the programme.

SELF HELP GROUP LOAN DISTRIBUTION – MACHILIPATNAM DISTRICT.
Similarly, through the CEP Project distributed Loans to the Self Help Group women of Mahilipatnam District. Around 14 groups have received loan Rs. 2,80,000/-, as an encouragement for the groups to start the income generating activities of their groups. The loans were distributed by Lieut. Colonels Jashwant and Ruth Mahida.
