India Eastern Territory Candidate Board has selected 22 dedicated youth for Salvation Army Officer Training after the applicants had gone through different criteria. These selected candidates were carefully tended, facilitated assessed by Territorial Candidate Board and Candidate Assessment Team for one year candidate period. The Territorial Candidate Board maintained candidate contact class, period with organised contact class, written examination, medical examination, personal behavior and conduct assessment.
Finally, on the date 8th July, 2018 (Sunday) 10:00 a.m., Welcome and Installation Service was conducted by Commissioner Lalzamlova, Territorial Commander at ITI Corps, Central South Division, Aizawl. In this service Lieut. Colonel John Kumar Dasari, Chief Secretary led this solemn service enthusiastically, Candidate Secretary handed over 22 candidates to Commissioner Lalzamlova, Territorial Commander and thence the Territorial Commander had welcome and installed the 22 youth for Messengers of the Kingdom Session Cadets for two years residential Officer Training Course. The Territorial Commander gave responsibility to the Training Principal to build up the cadets for eligible to be Commissioned Officer. Commissioner Nu-i, TPWM gave the Sessional Flag to the cadets of Messengers of the Kingdom session.
The Territorial Commander had deliver message impressively through John 18:36, Psalms 22:28, Daniel 2:44, 1 Peter 1:11 by comparing the two kingdoms – Kingdom of God and Earthly Kingdom saying that save the kingdom is the Lord's it does not required particular skills to understand and conquered God's Kingdom but love for God and compelled and motivated by the love of God within oneself is significant. And he challenged the congregation that God wants us to build everlasting kingdom, for doing so, the prior giving heart to God is must to win the others and emphasize the need of more workers for those who truly received genuine God's calling confidently.
This solemn service was accompanied and harmonized by various musical and songster participation. Many youth came to the Mercy seat in response to the Altar call, in dedicating their lives for God.
We praise and thank God for the new cadets and blessings showered in this important occasion.
