The Salvation Army Emery Hospital arranges free medical camps periodically to help the needy people of grass root level; as medical treatment and related investigations have become very expensive now a days. These camps have been held at hospital premises and at various villages.
AT EMERY HOSPITAL ON APRIL 14, 2018 :
The free medical health check – up camp was held in our Emery hospital on April 14, 2018. Major Andrews D. Christian welcomed the SA Officers, doctors and staff with patients and their relatives. He shared that now a day, the medical treatment has become very costly and in this situation, free medical check – up camp will be a blessing for the needy patients. Major Samuel Parmar, DC of Anand Division shared about the services rendered by Emery Hospital in Anand and its surrounding villages. He also appreciated hard efforts of the Administrator for such free medical camps. The staff members lit the lamp and the camp was declared open with prayer offered by Major Arvind Parmar.
There were more than 200 beneficiaries of this camp.
AT VANSOL CORPS ON JULY 1, 2018 :
On the occasion of Founder's Day of the Salvation Army, there was free medical check – up camp held at Vansol Corps of Anand Division on July 1, 2018 as a part of celebrating the event. The Divisional Commander, DYS and the Corps Officer welcomed the team.
There were sixty beneficiaries in this camp.
AT TRANOL ON JULY 15, 2018 :
The Methodist Church at Tranol village arranged a free medical check – up camp at Tranol Gram Panchayat with the support of Emery Hospital on July 15, 2018. The Emery team was welcomed by Rev. Suresh Christi, Tranol Methodist Church Pastor and church members. The camp was inaugurated by the Administrator.
There were more than 250 beneficiaries of this camp. The team of Shankara Eye hospital identified 20 people with cataract who would be operated free of cost for cataract surgery.
Our sincere thanks to the team of doctors - Dr. Ravi Varmora – Physician, Dr. Tarun Sharma – General Surgeon, Dr. Bhavin Rupera – Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Priti Patel-, Gynecologist, Dr. Nimesh Panchal – ENT Surgeon, Dr. Rashmin Cecil – Pediatrician, Dr. Jaynam Shah – Dentist, Dr. Mayur Trivedi – Medical Officer, Dr. Vivek Doshi, Dr. Viren Shah, Dr. Jayesh Patel, Dr. Preetej Macwan, Dr. Utsav Thakkar, intern doctors from Homeopathic College and a team from Shankara Eye Hospital and Emery hospital officers & staff for their precious services they rendered during the camp.
Totally, 510 people were served through these camps. Let all glory be to Almighty alone!!
