YP Rally of Trivandrum Division has been held on 26th May 2018 at Kowdiar, Youth Centre as successful event inspired and empowered two hundred youth to sing and dance by using the same song which sung during children's camp which held recently in Adoor. Few campers of the division reloaded by same resources “Along With Jesus” (AWJ) led by Biju Davi, the group leader launched one day programme. A similar pattern of camp events has introduced to the youth like action song, quiz competitions, creative worships, group activities and certain games in three groups accelerated their true Army spirit to join with each other and share the joy in most celebrating mood.
The first spiritual session of the rally was led by Major Saju Daniel, Divisional Commander after the introduction of newly appointed Divisional Youth Secretary Captain John K. Silus who opened the enthusiasm among the children for a change in their mind and attitude tuned with same inspiring message brought by Major Johnrose, Financial Secretary. As the days was concluding for the summer holidays the spiritual session closed for an open submission to the students expecting heavily blessings in their school and college learning.
A good number of the young people from Trivandrum Central was also came with their Commanding Officer Captains M.S and Sarita Reji who has already have given much inspiration to conduct such events to absorb the key persons of 'Along with Jesus' like, Shalu, Shiji Shalu, Biji, Roy, Rajesh, Bibin Lal, Reji Samuel and Shaju. All spices of rally specially formulated for one day performance which launched in three groups focusing upon the Bible characters and pioneers of the Salvation Army who has given the same vision to sort out a group of Salvationist around the world now reloaded through YP Rally. So AWJ proved their ability and dedication to create a true generation of Salvationism among the coming Army youth to motivate and mould for a chosen holy people alive all the way in their life here this world and the world to come.
The final hour of rally witnessed how such youth are walking along with Jesus when it was opened for a testimony and sermon, followed whole children and youth taken their decision by lighting the candles and tears. All Corps Officers and divisional staff Major Snehadeeapm, DDWM, Major James George, Asst. to DC, Major Rachel James, DSWM and Captain Priya John have given their roles to find success in various level to conducting such an inspirational rally by involving all the participants to sing and learn many things creatively on motivational ground to mould a generation of spiritual Army.
