O Boundless Salvation

O Boundless Salvation A NEW version of ‘O Boundless Salvation’, originally written in 1893 by Salvation Army Founder William Booth – and known as the Founder’s Song – has been recorded by music participants who will take part in The Salvation Army’s 150th anniversary congress in London. Individuals and groups from all over the world have come together to feature in an upbeat, rousing version of a song that is familiar to Salvationists and friends the world over. The new version was written especially for Boundless by Richard Phillips.

An accompanying video demonstrates the international spread of participants, who come from every inhabited continent.

The recording has been organised by the UK Territory with the Republic of Ireland’s trading arm Salvationist Publishing and Supplies Ltd (SP&S), which will be running a 'Supertrade' store at the congress, selling clothes, books, recordings, music, instruments and commemorative items.

‘O Boundless Salvation’ can be downloaded from iTunes, Amazon or Google Play or through the SP&S online store (as separate video and music tracks) and is also available as an enhanced CD (featuring the music track and a video that can be played on PC or Mac).

The recording includes contributions from: Amsterdam Staff Songsters, Angola National Band, Ayoung Lee, Bill Booth Theater Company, cast of the congress musical – Covenant, Charlie Green, Chicago Staff Band, Hart Triplets, Hawai’i Hula Hālau, International Staff Band, International Staff Songsters, London Citadel Timbrels, Mannssambandet, Melbourne Staff Band, Mizo Singers, Nigel Mapes, Ontario Central-East Divisional Youth Chorus, Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters, Pasadena Tabernacle Youth Chorus, South America East Territorial Band, Paduan Suara Bala Keselamatan, Vasa Gospel Choir and Waverley Temple Timbrels.
