Young Salvationists march in Kerala

Prayer requests

Please pray for wisdom and provision as the territory navigates significant financial challenges following the suspension of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). Ask God to provide creative and sustainable solutions to support ongoing ministry.

A shortage of candidates for Salvation Army officership is a serious concern for the territory. For many reasons, there are less young people stepping forward. Please pray that all Salvationists in the India South Western Territory will be responsive to God’s call on their lives and that those who are called to Salvation Army officership will respond with courage and faith too.

Unemployment continues to be a big issue in Kerala with few job vacancies available and a declining number of job opportunities in the government sector for Christians. Pray for new pathways to employment, economic stability and hope for those seeking work.

In certain parts of the state, Christians are facing religious opposition because of their faith. Pray that Salvationists will stand firm, remain bold in their witness, and be strengthened in the face of uncertainty and resistance.

Even amid these challenges, we give thanks. We are deeply grateful for faithful leadership, committed Salvationists and the resources God has already provided. Let us thank God for his continued presence and provision as we work together toward a hopeful future.
