Week 4

The week began Sunday evening gathered around the piano with General John and Commissioner Freda Larsson singing with the General and listening to many of the stories around the songs he had written with General John Gowans.  We all sensed God's blessing on this evening.

The House of Prayer started on Monday evening with rooms throughout Cedars dedicated to prayer guided by General Bond's call to "One Army, One Mission, One Message".  This continued with a half night of prayer and a day of prayer and fasting.  God came in a mighty way and spoke to many.

Tuesday, Lt. Colonel Avor Telfer and Sarah-Jane Alley from the UK & I Territory shared inspiring information and lessons in Sports Ministry.  On Wednesday, we visited the William Booth College and International Heritage Center.  Majors Dean & Eirwen Pallant joined us on Thursday for discussions in ethics enjoyed by all.  The South Pacific and East Asia Zone shared The Salvation Army's work and an overall view of their countries. Friday, we were blessed by an annointed Principal's lecture calling us to watch for the "little foxes that spoil the vine".
