‘I went to my grandma one day before she died, I made a promise to her. I told her I was going to be an amazing teacher.
‘My grandma, she taught me to persevere, and these sufferings aren't really bad, they’re what's there to build your foundation. To build you up and to build your character up into what you can be. I realised I want to be that person. To encourage people, to love people, and to help people.
‘So I went to a Salvation Army event called WYI. After I gave a testimony to people about me not being a Christian, basically, a man came to pray for me after I sat down. When I was praying, I felt like I heard God say “I love you”. But it wasn't in like terms of a voice. It was more of a really powerful feeling.
‘I wasn't looking for an answer that God's real. All I wanted was for God to say that I love you. And so I would say, if you continue to seek, seek and in the Bible seek and you will find.’
