Brief summary of presentation of information made

Montage Initiative, an organisation that highly values the involvement of youth in its works,  presented in collaboration with The Guild For Service, Women’s Federation for World Peace and The Le Menach Foundation.

The presentation shared the hands on experience of Montage’s Student trip to India. Through discussion and short documentaries, students presenting tackled the challenges they encountered in a developing country while advocating social justice and gender equality for women and girls. Students analyzed gender and other sectors of inequality as reflected through social institutions, legal practices and the customary rights in India.

What was of particular significance to share with The Salvation Army globally?

It was good to see the success of a Youth Leadership Development Program, incorporating the voices and participation of young people in its projects. The Salvation Army can and does encourage this too.
