The International Business Administration Department/Facilities Management Section is looking for a full time Assistant Building Maintenance Operative/Porter to provide support to the team. This is a varied and often challenging position requiring a significant degree of confidentiality.
If successful, you would have general responsibility with others on the FM team for various facilities management and small maintenance tasks. You will need to be well motivated and service minded and have no difficulty in multi-tasking, planning and prioritising your work.
You will have the ability to think logically, problem solve, and show diplomacy, while remaining calm under pressure and being supportive to the team.
You will be a team player and have good capabilities across a wide range of disciplines, including the distribution of mail, recycling, room set set-up and other small maintenance tasks. The ability to lift a minimum of 15 kg and safely work from a ladder is necessary.

Starting salary: £18,239.00 pa plus travel to work allowance up to £3200 pa
Hours: 35 per week

25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays pro rata.
