Assistant to the Head of Travel


A full-time vacancy has arisen within our International Travel Section.

We are seeking someone who can work with staff at all levels and across disciplines to provide professional support to the Travel Section. An organised individual who can work independently and to tight deadlines.

As the Assistant to the Head of Travel, you will be responsible for making and coordinating our complex international travel arrangements supporting all projects as directed by the Head of Travel.

Skills and experience

  • previous experience of arranging international travel is desirable but training will be provided
  • a strong team player with excellent IT skills, and effective oral and written communication skills
  • You must enjoy a challenge and be able to work independently and accurately managing a large and complex workload to a professional standard
  • proven track record of working in an administrative capacity with a requirement for policy adherence


Salary:                            £29,596.13 plus travel to work allowance up to £3,200pa.

Hours:                            35 hours a week

Annual Leave:               25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum
