October 2012
Edition 15

Dear Friends,

This month's newsletter features the International College for Soldiers, which was the first of its kind in the history of The Salvation Army. Twenty-five Salvationists, whose ages ranged from 18 to 30, gathered in London for a full two weeks of intense teaching, meaningful worship, devoted prayer, spiritual growth and lively fellowship.

Recordings of the teaching of Dr. Roger Green, the main guest lecturer of the International College for Soldiers, are our featured resources this month. Read more about the ICS House of Prayer and Half-Night of Prayer in our Salvation Army House of Prayer (SA-HOP) section.

Major Ann Kiama, Secretary of Spiritual Life Development in the Kenya East Territory, also shares an article with us this month about serving others as Jesus served.

'For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.' (Galatians 3:26-28 NLT).

Fullness in Christ,

Colonel Janet Munn
