In response to the Global Call to 24/7 Prayer, The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda has designated February 25-27, May 6-8, September 30-October 2 and November 18-20, 2011 as Children/Youth Prayer Challenge weekends.
Corps across the territory are being challenged to hold prayer meetings involving children and youth and featuring social justice issues that are important to young people today.
A website www.sapray247.ca has been designed to allow groups to register for each event, as well as providing practical resources for teaching children and young people how to prayer and provide information on social justice issues.
All participants will take part in completing "Hands of Prayer" cards which will be collected and made into a Prayer-Wall Mural at Territorial Headquarters in Toronto.
2011 promises to be an exciting year as the children and youth of Canada and Bermuda pray believing for justice.
