General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton joined Salvationists from the USA Eastern Territory in Boston, Massachusetts, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the sanctification experience of Samuel Logan Brengle, who went on to become one of The Salvation Army's foremost teachers of holiness.

Salvation Army Opens Work in 119th Country
General Shaw Clifton is pleased to announce that the work of The
Salvation Army has been officially established in the west African
country of Sierra Leone, bringing the total number of countries in
which the Army operates to 119.

General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton celebrated Chile’s National Centennial Congress in Santiago with officers, soldiers and friends of The Salvation Army. The visit was the international leaders’ first to the South America West Territory.

General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton met Salvationists and officers of the USA Southern Territory on the international leaders' first visit to the territory's headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
The General and Commissioner Helen Clifton Lead Worship Across Brazil
The visit of General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton to the Brazil Territory was marked by special meetings in three divisions of this vast country. In these public meetings many people responded to words of challenge and encouragement given by the General and sought spiritual renewal. The General was also received by the Governor of the State of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos, furthering the work with street children undertaken by The Salvation Army.
