Red Shield Industries (RSI) is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Thrift Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community. 


1) Sales Supervisor


  • Responsible for the day to day operation of the thrift store

  • Be well informed of all promotional activities

  • Ensure merchandise and displays are consistently well presented

  • Lead & train staff towards achieving sales goals & service standards through training when required

  • Manage customer feedback & enquires & response to complaint professionally


Working Hours:

  • Mon to Fri 9.15am to 6.15pm

  • 5.5 days week / 44 hours week

1) Manager, Processing & Warehouse

The Manager, Processing and Warehouse assists in processing of incoming donated goods, outgoing processed items for wholesale and retail sales, recyclables and humanitarian aids and providing effective leadership to the processing and warehouse team.

At all times, the manager shall ensure effective management of our processing and warehousing operations are in line with The Salvation Army Red Shield Industries' visions, policies, procedures and adhere to professional code of conduct and maintain personal integrity in all business transactions.

The manager is expected to optimize RSI financial contributions towards fulfilment of the community, charity and humanitarian purpose.


  • Good in safety management

  • Experienced in supervision of a team either in warehouse or processing plant environment

  • Able to manage processing of large volume of donated goods

2) Technical Assistant

Successful applicant will ensure that all bulky, electrical and electronic donated items received are accounted for in accordance to the Collection Note and properly handled and placed in respective inbound holding area. Also ensure all electrical and electronic equipment, wiring installation, appliances and peripherals are tested functionally to be in pristine working condition.

Prior to delivery check that the items are properly packed, labeled and accompanied with correct documentation before distribution to the various stores.

Working hours:

  • 8.30am to 6.00pm

  • 44 hours work week

  • 5.5 days work week

Salary starts from: $1600


  • Min. ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • 1 years' related working experience

  • Newly graduated candidates are welcome to apply

  • Hands on experience in testing electrical appliances and repairs

  • MS Office proficient


3) Truck Driver


  • Comply with established quality, environmental and safety practices in carrying out the daily activities.

  • Supports operation by transportation of equipment and tools to sites as and when required.

  • Ensure vehicles in safe driving condition and regular maintenance.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and condition of vehicles


  • Minimum Class 4 driving license

  • Physically Fit

  • Secondary school education

  • Familiar with Singapore roads

  • Salary $1,800
