Released 12 December 2007

Majors Ceferino and Salvacion Evangelis have served as active officers of the Salvation Army for 25 years and entered their retirement on November 15, 2007.

Territorial Commander Colonel Charles Malcolm Induruwage, presented the Majors with a certificate of retirement in a special meeting attended by friends and loved ones to pay tribute to the faithful officers.

The Majors- who ended their working life as Salvation Army officers- were highly respected for their caring spirit and love for others. In all their appointments, people find them as good partners and undaunted from the many challenges they met.

God bless you, Majors Ceferino and Salvacion Evangelis!

They now live in Waling-waling, Cattleya St., Caloocan City.
