Day of Prayer for Victims of Human TraffickingPOSTERS and a prayer resource are now available for the 2013 Annual Day of Prayer for Victims of Human Trafficking, which takes place across The Salvation Army on Sunday 29 September.

Every year the last Sunday in September is set aside as the Day of Prayer for Victims of Human Trafficking, forming an important focal point for prayer alongside the Annual Day of Prayer for Children, which falls on the last Sunday in March.

This year's theme Bible verse is Proverbs 31:8 – 'But you must defend those who are helpless and have no hope' (Contemporary English Version). A prayer resource and publicity posters designed by Berni Georges from the International Headquarters Communications Section can be downloaded – in English, French, Spanish and without text – from sar.my/dayofprayertrafficking2013
