Boundless – The Whole World Participating

Details of the online coverage of Boundless – The Whole World Redeeming, The Salvation Army’s 150th anniversary international congress
Live coverage

WITH just four weeks to go, details have been unveiled of the online coverage of Boundless – The Whole World Redeeming, The Salvation Army’s 150th anniversary international congress. The central hub for all things Boundless will be the www.boundless2015.org website, which will incorporate live and recorded video content as well as a daily live blog and social media interaction.

Live coverageEach of the seven main arena sessions – packed full of worship, teaching, prayer and cultural items – will be broadcast live online. Alternative audio streams will provide translation into French and Spanish. Salvation Army corps (churches) around the world will be screening these sessions as they happen and each programme will be available to watch again on demand shortly afterwards.

Boundless participants – regardless of whether they are part of the 15,000-strong congregation in London, or watching online – can take part by sharing their thoughts direct through the website or on social media. The Boundless media team is keen for Salvationists and friends to use the #Boundless2015 hashtag on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as they talk about their Boundless experience and share photos which capture the essence of this incredible event.

Participants wishing to respond to the Holy Spirit’s promptings are encouraged to do so online. Respondents will be offered support from the Centre for Spiritual Life Development.

For an hour before each of the main programmes, SAVN.tv (a ministry of USA Western Territory) will be presenting a live show which will include exclusive interviews with special guests, participants, performing groups and delegates. These broadcasts will be highly interactive and will invite viewers to discuss and pray about the day’s proceedings in video chat groups. SAVN.tv will also provide a comprehensive recap after each session.

Colleagues from Salvation Army Today (USA Southern) will cover a wide range of additional Boundless meetings and activities from around The O2 – and elsewhere in London. These films will feature in special daily broadcasts that will also be available via the live event page on www.boundless2015.org.

Each day at the congress will commence with an international prayer meeting that will also be covered on www.boundless2015.org – another chance to unite with fellow Salvationists right around the world.

Finally, the Boundless live event page will offer social media users an opportunity to show their support and belonging through an exclusive Boundless ‘Twibbon’, a small graphic which can be added to online profiles, making an immediate statement to Facebook friends, Twitter followers etc. Salvationists and friends are also encouraged to join a Thunderclap – a simultaneous burst of social media – to mark the occasion of The Salvation Army’s 150th birthday itself on Founders’ Day, Thursday 2 July 2015.
