Dr David Nku Imbié is the head of health services for The Salvation Army's Democratic Republic of the Congo Territory. Originally from Maluku in the city-province of Kinshasa, he was the governor of the said province until 16 May 2004.
In 2007 he was elected by the Provincial Assembly of Kinshasa as a member of the Senate. After his five-year term, he was elected as a national deputy by Tshangu District.
